blue skies, red earth & tall pines
blue skies, red earth & tall pines, is a multi-year arts project led by Jumblies current Artistic Director, Sharada Eswar. The project explores stories about borders people cross throughout their lives: geographic borders and also metaphorical, linguistic, religious, emotional, psychological, cultural. Through artist-led workshops – mixing storytelling, visual arts, comic-making, dance, and more – community members of all ages explore and bring to life this theme. The project will culminate in a performance event in June 2024, taking place in Brampton, Scarborough and at Jumblies downtown Toronto homebase, The Ground Floor.
